AKM participated in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Public Law (PL) 84-99 Rehabilitation and Inspection Program (RIP) with the Orange County Flood Control District (OCFCD).  AKM was responsible for: a) Coordination with the jurisdictional agencies; b) Review of as-built plans and past inspection reports; c) Field visits and evaluation of the flood control facilities; d) Evaluation of facility damages and providing repair recommendations; and e) Preparation of USACE Flood Damage Reduction Segment/System Inspection Reports.  AKM completed evaluation of ten of Orange County Flood Control District regional flood control facilities – Los Alamitos Channel, Carbon Creek Channel, San Juan Creek Channel, Rosalia Channel, Yorba Linda Reservoir, Fletcher Channel, Narco Channel, Sand Canyon Channel, Aliso Hills Channel, and Capistrano Beach Channel.
